The Ruins and Things to Do in Talisay

Talisay sits between Silay and Bacolod, and most people only pass through. Stop. The Ruins glows at dusk, Balay ni Tana Dicang keeps the story of a woman who ran a hacienda, and the road climbs into cool highlands. It's the gentlest half-day from Bukaw, and the easiest to pair with a flight.

The stay is at Bukaw, by the Malogo River in Silay. Ride apps and the airport van are in Getting around.

Drive times on this page are approximate, from Silay City proper, not measured from our gate.

Last checked 27 October 2026.

If the evening should be louder, Bacolod is the hungrier half of the day.
